Docuflair Scan supports local drives, network shares, cloud services like OneDrive, SharePoint, NextCloud, Amazon S3, FTP servers and many more storage locations. You can create shortcuts to frequently used directories directly at the multifunction device.
How does QR code batch processing work?
Generate QR codes for your scan destinations and add them at the beginning of your documents. During batch scanning, the software automatically recognises the QR codes, separates the documents accordingly and assigns them to the stored destinations.
What is scan preview?
After scanning, you receive a preview of the scanned documents directly at the multifunction device. You can check quality and completeness before transferring the documents to the desired destination through manual approval.
Can address books be synchronised?
Yes, you can synchronise contacts via LDAP or create your own address books for colleagues and customers. You can collect, group and set scan destinations (email, fax, storage location) as favourites in address books.
What image enhancements are performed automatically?
The software offers configurable blank page detection and comprehensive automated image enhancements. Advanced compression methods ensure smaller file sizes while maintaining high quality.
Which scanners and multifunction devices are supported?
Docuflair Scan is compatible with all common multifunction devices from manufacturers such as Epson, Canon, Kyocera, Ricoh, Konica Minolta and many others. How secure is data transfer during scanning?
Docuflair encrypts all communication using secure protocols (TLS/SSL). Scans stay on-premises – your data never leaves your company network unless you explicitly configure cloud destinations. Multi-stage approval processes provide additional control over sensitive documents.
Can I create custom scan workflows?
Yes, you can create individual scan profiles with predefined settings: resolution, colour mode, file format, compression, target directory and naming rules. You can assign these profiles to users or user groups so that each employee accesses their optimised settings with one click.
How does multi-stage scan approval work?
With multi-stage approval enabled, each scanned document goes through a review process. After scanning, a preview appears at the device for quality control. The document can then be forwarded to an approval workflow where a supervisor or defined role approves the final transfer - ideal for sensitive documents in regulated industries.
