Vendor-neutral

Print Management for Every MFP Vendor

14+ vendors, 250+ certified models

Docuflair Print integrates multifunction devices from all major vendors uniformly — as a native embedded app on Sharp, Xerox, Kyocera, Canon, Ricoh, Konica Minolta, or via the universal IP queue for HP, Lexmark, Brother, OKI, Toshiba. One platform, one licence, one audit trail — regardless of which printer is on the network.

Two integration paths — same feature set

Docuflair supports MFPs in two ways. Both deliver pull-print, follow-me, cost accounting and GDPR-compliant audit trails.

Native embedded app

The Docuflair app runs directly on the MFP touchscreen via Sharp OSA, Xerox EIP, Kyocera HyPAS, Canon MEAP, Ricoh ESA, Konica Minolta OpenAPI. Authentication, job overview and cost accounting appear on the control panel — no additional print server required.

Universal IP queue

The Docuflair spool server acts as the central print server for HP, Lexmark, Brother, OKI, Toshiba. Print jobs flow TLS-encrypted to the spool; release at the device is via external card reader, web portal or mobile app. Ideal for mixed fleets.

Universal IP queue — for mixed fleets

8 vendors via the Docuflair spool server, release via card reader or web portal.

QR code release via the Docuflair Mobile App

An additional release path that works on every printer — from the cheap office printer without a touchscreen to the high-end MFP with a native embedded app. Optional, in addition or as an alternative to card-reader and web-portal release.

  • QR code right on the device: A QR code generated by the Docuflair server (encoding printer name, location, device ID) is stuck onto the unit — on a touchscreen MFP just as on a basic desktop printer.
  • Release via the Docuflair Mobile App: Users scan the QR code with their smartphone, see their pending print jobs and release the one they want — audit trail with user, timestamp and device ID included.
  • Full GDPR compliance: Print data stays in the encrypted spool until the QR code is scanned and the user is authenticated. No unsecured direct prints.
  • No hardware investment for "dumb" printers: No card reader, no touchscreen upgrade, no new printer. Existing devices stay — functionality comes from the smartphone.
  • Also available alongside native / IP-queue integration: On MFPs with an embedded app, users can release jobs in parallel via touchscreen, card reader, web portal or QR code — whoever is on their smartphone simply scans.
  • Unified experience across the whole fleet: Native embedded app (Sharp, Xerox, Kyocera, Epson), universal IP queue (HP, Lexmark, Brother, …) and QR code release run in parallel — same job, same audit trail, same mobile app.

Frequently Asked Questions

Answers about vendor support, licensing and mixed fleets.

What's the difference between native embedded app and universal IP queue?

With native integration, the Docuflair app runs directly on the MFP touchscreen (Sharp OSA, Xerox EIP, Kyocera HyPAS, Canon MEAP, Ricoh ESA, Konica Minolta OpenAPI). With universal IP queue (HP, Lexmark, Brother, OKI, Toshiba) the Docuflair spool server acts as the print server; release at the device is via card reader or web portal. Feature parity is comparable in both cases.

Does Docuflair Print work in mixed fleets?

Yes. You can run native and universally-integrated devices in parallel — user authentication, quotas, cost-centre reporting and audit trail are unified across all vendors.

Which vendors are included in the standard licence scope?

Sharp, Xerox, Kyocera, Canon, Ricoh, Konica Minolta and their rebrands (UTAX, Triumph Adler, Olivetti, Develop) are included in the standard licence scope. HP, Lexmark, Toshiba, Brother and OKI run via the universal IP queue — licensing details are clarified individually based on your fleet.

Can I use Docuflair Print without compatible MFPs?

Yes. The universal IP queue works with any network-capable printer that supports PCL5/6, PostScript or PDF. For release functionality (pull-print, follow-me), we recommend an external card reader or the web release portal.

How many MFP models are certified in total?

More than 250 models from 14+ vendors. The complete list is available in the compatible-devices overview.
